Hi and welcome. It's been many a long year since we had a website, and now, thanks to the design and tech skills of our dear friend Maya van der Meer, we have leapt back into the virtual realm. You can find out about Ida tour dates, news, new releases, and catch some glimpses of what we have been up to, all right here and right now. Eventually, though, this will be the place to find out everything you ever wanted to know about Ida but were afraid to ask. For now, this site is very much in the provisional stages, but we will be adding new things all the time, so keep checking in here for new updates, sign our mailing list, and let us know what is on your mind.
In the meantime, we invite you to also check out our Patreon, where all kinds of exciting things are going down; our Bandcamp, which is already mind-blowing and breaking records by the minute; and allow us to also give an obligatory nod to the hegemonic forces that dictate and calibrate our collective stupor, our daily dopamine IV drip, and general sense of curated malaise—I mean, our Instagram. We are, for now, maintaining a presence there, but who knows for how long. Things change quickly, don't they? Needless to say, our heart is here, and at the shows, and with all of you who are listening to our songs and reading these words right now, wherever you find yourself in this world. Our hearts are also with anyone who is down with creative expression in these times, with transformational liberation sounds and aspirations, ideas and actions that are about inclusivity and courage. We are with all those around the globe who are invested in strengthening and building communities that are not based on hate and fear.
